The festival returns June 4 and runs through June 13 with its largest celebration to date, featuring events and activities across the 178-mile Texas stretch of Route 66.
This year’s festival coincides with the Route 66 Centennial.
“The Texas Route 66 Festival has become a signature celebration of the Mother Road in the Texas Panhandle, and this year’s Centennial provides an opportunity to make it bigger than ever,” said Kashion Smith, executive director of Visit Amarillo. “We are excited to welcome visitors from around the world to experience the people, places and traditions that make Route 66 in Texas unique.”
The festival includes live music, car shows, community celebrations, family activities, historical programming and special Centennial experiences throughout the Texas Panhandle.
