Silver Line Arches

Overnight construction begins tonight as crews install the south-side arch on the DART Silver Line bridge over US 75, just south of the President George Bush Turnpike.

The arch pieces currently staged near the bridge will be lifted into place during overnight work scheduled from Thursday, June 4, through early Monday, June 8. The work will require closures of US 75 main lanes, frontage roads, ramps, and Renner Road at different times.

Closure schedule:

Thursday, June 4 | 9 p.m.-4 a.m.

Full closure of northbound and southbound US 75 frontage roads

Temporary rolling closure of Renner Road at US 75

Friday, June 5 | 9 p.m.-6 a.m.

Full closure of northbound and southbound US 75 main lanes

Full closure of eastbound and westbound President George Bush Turnpike ramps to southbound US 75

Partial closure of the southbound frontage road

Saturday, June 6 | 9 p.m.-8 a.m.

Full closure of northbound US 75 main lanes

Full closure of northbound US 75 to the President George Bush Turnpike ramp

Partial closure of the northbound frontage road

Sunday, June 7 | 8 p.m.-5 a.m.

Full closure of northbound and southbound US 75 frontage roads

Closure of southbound US 75 Exit 27 to Renner Road

Temporary rolling closure of Renner Road at US 75

Silver Line rail service will also be suspended overnight between Shiloh Road Station and UTD Station during portions of the work, with bus service provided between Shiloh Road, 12th Street, CityLine/Bush and UTD stations.

Drivers should plan ahead, expect delays, follow posted detours and use alternate routes when possible.
