The state of Texas will once again be well-represented on the AP Top 25 poll.

Texas A&M didn’t play this week, but the Aggies maintained their spot among the country’s top-five teams. Texas Tech and Texas saw some movement after picking up some big wins Saturday.

The Red Raiders jumped from 13th to ninth after a 43-20 win over Kansas State. Meanwhile, the Longhorns moved up from 20th to 13th after a 34-31 victory over Vanderbilt.

Oklahoma also helped its case with a 33-27 win over Tennessee. The Sooners are now ranked 11th after entering the week at No. 18. Dallas-area football fans also got some good news in Sunday’s reveal as North Texas and SMU received some votes.
