LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Scoring five runs in the first inning, #4 New Home beat #10 Iola 7-2 to win the Class 2ADI Baseball State Championship Thursday morning at Dell Diamond in Round Rock.
It’s the first State Title for Brady Webb & the Leopards, who have been one the top teams in our viewing area.
This was the 6th State Appearance for New Home who also made it in 2018, 19, 22, 23 and 2025.
Bransen Beckham had a two RBI hit in the first and a two RBI hit in the second as the Leopards opened a 7-1 lead.
Tucker Cotton went four innings for New Home with Avin Madrid finishing it off with the final three innings.
New Home finishes the year 30-8.
