Gate City comes up just short on the pitch in the Region 2-D championship

Bluefield, VA — On the pitch, the Gate City Blue Devils were on the road tonight for the Region 2-D Championship against the G-Men of Graham.

Graham scored a goal to make it 1-0 in the first half at the 27-minute mark after a Blake Adkins pass to Lucas Nash.

Gate City answered to tie it 1-1 in the second half, scored by Brody Sivert off the penalty kick.

This would go into overtime, where Graham scores the goal to make it 2-1 in OT, coming from Lucas Nash on a penalty kick.

So Graham wins the championship with a final score of 2-1.
