Friday morning, wet weather returns in time for the early-morning walk and the morning commute.
Friday afternoon and evening, scattered showers and storms continue to fire off along the sea breeze that moves inland. Watch for street ponding and flooding as storm have the potential to drop anywhere from 1 to 3 inches of rain. Rain chances fade after sunset.

There is a large, disorganized area of tropical moisture in the Gulf. It shouldn’t form into a tropical storm or depression, but it will bring more organized heavy rain to the Gulf Coast. There is a 60% chance of moisture here on Friday and Saturday. Both of these days we have a street flooding threat.
