Storms are moving through the Houston region, and Harris County is under a flash flood warning until 3 p.m., creating the risk of high water on roads for drivers.

Here are some locations to avoid because of high water risks, according to Houston Transtar:

Ella Boulevard at W. 21st Street

Kluge Road and Huffmeister Road in the Cypress area

Buffalo Bayou near Clinton and Wayside

Texas 35 near FM 528 in the Alvin area

The MarBella neighborhood in League City

Dickinson Bayou at Texas 3

The flash flood warning from the National Weather Service was issued at around 12:40 p.m. and stated that rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches per hour were expected in some parts of the county.
