HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Three of the eastbound lanes on the Katy Freeway at Houston Avenue have reopened after all the main lanes were shut down on Saturday afternoon due to flooding, TranStar reports.
According to Houston TranStar’s website, the impacted area is considered a “High Water Location”, affecting the right three lanes as well as the right shoulder.
TranStar cameras show high water impacting the eastbound main lanes on Saturday afternoon, with some vehicles attempting to drive through the flooded roadway.
