A manhunt is underway after a gunman opened fire on a community gathering at a Fort Worth, Texas, park on Saturday night, injuring four people—including a police officer and a child.

The suspect remains at large, a Fort Worth Police Department (FWPD) spokesperson confirmed to Newsweek via email on Sunday. No motive has been established, and the investigation is ongoing.

What to Know About the Shooting

The shooting occurred just after 9 p.m. Saturday at Stop Six Park. According to officials, a large-scale, family-oriented community event was underway when the gunfire began, causing attendees to flee for cover.

Investigators report that the suspect emerged from an area between a local business strip center and an adjacent apartment complex just east of the park. The individual then fired “indiscriminately” into the crowd before fleeing on foot back toward the apartment complex.
