Another Round of Storms Sunday Across Houston

The Houston area is in line for another round of rain and storms Sunday.

Here is the forecast from Justin Stapleton with our TV partner Channel Two:

Sunday, watch for another round of showers and storms. Mostly dry in the morning with spotty showers possible.

The afternoon and evening are when southeast Texas has the best chance of downpours. Watch for potential street flooding and ponding; some storms could drop up to an inch of rain, with locally higher amounts.

Sunday night, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., a wave of rain will move along the coast from Matagorda County to Chambers County.
