The Oregon Ducks face elimination from the NCAA tournament after an 11-3 loss to Texas in Game 1 on Saturday night.

Oregon left an incredible 17 runners on base, batting 2-for-20 with runners on base and 0-for-14 with runners in scoring position.
The Ducks hope to have better luck against Texas right-hander Ruger Riojas (5-2, 3.86 ERA) after struggling against Longhorns ace, left-hander Dylan Volantis on Saturday.
Oregon will seek to limit Texas’ offense by starting its ace, right-hander Will Sanford (9-2, 3.46 ERA).
In his last two starts, Sanford recorded 23 strikeouts over 12 1/3 innings.
