LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – TxDOT turned the intersection at FM 1585 and Milwaukee into an all-way stop.
Previously, only southbound drivers had to wait to cross. There are new stop signs at the intersection to slow down east and westbound traffic on 1585.
TxDOT is also painting warnings on the road to advise of the change.
TxDOT is also lowering the speed limit there to 55 mph in that area. Crews are putting up warning signs along the road.
