The World Cup is coming to Arlington from Sunday through July 14, with nine matches to be played at the AT&T Stadium, which will be referred to as Dallas Stadium during the tournament.
Whether attendees are residents wanting to enjoy the sport with fellow fans, visitors wanting to catch a game, or die-hard fans who missed out on tickets, here are 10 local bars and venues that residents and travelers can visit.
Texas Live
Next door to the Dallas Stadium, this 200,000-square-foot arena, at 1650 E. Randol Mill Road, has a 100-foot Media Wall and 122 screens across 11 restaurants and 22 bars where visitors can watch every match. General admission is $26.20.
Live will also have “La Fiesta Del Fútbol” where attendees can watch various matches and enjoy live bands and Latin DJs. Tickets start at $43.77.
BoomerJack’s Grill
This bar, located at 522 Lincoln Square, will host a watch party for all the matches. They have wall-to-wall TVs and drink specials starting from $3.
Pluckers Wing Bar
At 4000 Bagpiper Way #140, this bar offers daily specials on various menu items. Known for its wings, the bar is a good place to catch a match.
BFF Asian Grill & Sports Bar
Attendees can join the American Chamber of Business’ World Cup Watch Party from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. June 17 at 2150 E. Lamar Blvd, Suite 100. A spot can be reserved for the free event online.
Ojos Locos
At 1620 E. Copeland Road, attendees can watch every match on their wall-to-wall TVs and enjoy food and soccer balls filled with 100 ounces of cold beer. Daily specials will be available, with gear giveaways during group stage matches.
Charlie’s Tavern Arlington
At 1308 S. Cooper St., this bar will host watch parties for every match, with game day specials including Happy Hour and a variety of food deals. Fans can play pool while watching the matches.
Additionally, fans who wear their jerseys get a complementary appetizer.
Drip Content and Media House
This venue, at 3008 E. Abram St., will hold watch parties for five of the World Cup matches. Attendees will experience the DRIP World Cup experience, which includes luxury seating, immersive visuals, a nightlife atmosphere, premium entertainment and complimentary food. The general experience costs $50 and the VIP gift experience costs $100. The VIP experience includes a World Cup face cap, carrying bag, DRIP T-shirt, football gift and VIP gift package.
The Social House
At 1705 N. Collins St. #101, this restaurant features an award-winning scratch kitchen and a selection of beers, wines and cocktails on tap that attendees can enjoy while watching a match on big screen TVs.
Black Sheep Sports Bar
At 601. E Main St., this bar offers barbecue from 225° BBQ, daily specials and happy hour until 8 p.m. every weekday. Attendees can play pool and watch a match on the TVs.
J. Gilligan’s Bar & Grill
This pub, at 400 E. Abram St., is known for its Irish nachos and has live music. The bar also provides a shuttle that can take attendees to and from the stadium.
