Suspicious package report triggers bomb squad, evacuations at El Paso County courthouse

A suspicious package reported at the county courthouse at 9:08 prompted a response from the El Paso Police Department Bomb Squad.

Police said the bomb squad was responding to assist after the report was made.

Officials with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said that out of an abundance of caution, the courthouse is being evacuated.
