FORT WORTH – It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Juan A. Gonzalez Sr., who passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 80 in Watauga, Texas. Graveside Service: 2 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2026, in the Breyley Suite at Mount Olivet Chapel. Juan lived a life filled with hard work, laughter, music, and love for his family. He worked for many years as a food distributor, earning the respect of those who knew him through his dedication and strong work ethic. Juan was known for his joyful spirit and his ability to bring smiles to those around him. He loved music and singing, enjoyed watching wrestling, and had a special gift for making people laugh. His warmth, humor, and larger-than-life personality left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Yolanda Gonzalez; and his sons, Billy Joe Gonzalez and Jerry Gonzalez. Juan is survived by his sons, Juan A. Gonzalez Jr. and his wife, Christy Gonzalez, and Jose Luis Gonzalez and his wife, Margaret Gonzalez. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Jordan and her husband, Abel; Conrado; Joe Luis; Safyre; Jerry; Isabella; Kylie; Peyton; Gabrielle; and Vincent, along with many other beloved great-grandchildren, extended family members, and friends who will miss him dearly. His legacy of love, humor, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Though he is gone from our sight, Juan’s memory will remain a source of comfort, strength, and joy for all whose lives he touched. May he rest in peace.
