Happy Thursday,

I’m not someone who regularly watches soccer in my free time. I only tune in every four years during the World Cup — but those moments are some of my favorite memories.

For as long as I can remember, my extended family has gotten together to watch the matches. Those hangouts include keeping our eyes glued to the TV, eating a lot of carne asada and jumping off the couch when Mexico and the U.S. each score. They’re always great times.

If you’re looking to create your own special moments with family and close friends, head to Texas Live! to experience the matches alongside live Latin musicians.

What team are you rooting for during the 2026 FIFA World Cup? What’s your favorite World Cup memory? Let me know by replying to this email or contacting me at david.moreno@fortworthreport.org.
