The Dallas receiver played a little backyard football with South Texas kids.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi had a second Dallas Cowboys player in the area in as many years as receiver George Pickens was on hand Thursday for a kids camp at Cabaniss Stadium.

Pickens was holding the camp that was put on by Christus Health and Flexwork Sports. Kids ages six to 16 got to play a little backyard football with the second year Cowboy and took a bunch of pictures as well. 3NEWScaught up with one camper who needless to say was enjoying his afternoon Pickens.

“One of the best times of my life,” said camper Camden Solis.

Pickens didn’t speak to the media, but he’s getting ready to play the season under the franchise tag for the Cowboys after signing the tender this offseason.
