A man was killed Thursday night in a rollover crash that closed part of Interstate 30 near downtown Fort Worth, police said.
Officers responded to the major accident in the 3400 block of I-30 near Montgomery Street about 7:30 p.m. It’s not clear what caused the vehicle to flip, but the driver was ejected and died at the scene, according to police.
All westbound lanes of I-30 were closed at Montgomery Street for several hours while the accident was being cleared. The freeway was open by 10:30 p.m., the Texas Department of Transportation said on social media.
The person who died has not yet been publicly identified by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The Fort Worth police Traffic Investigation Unit is looking into the cause of the single-vehicle crash, police said.
