Two dead in suspected murder-suicide at a North Texas apartment complex, police say

Hurst Police say the incident happened at the Whispering Run Apartments Thursday afternoon

HURST, Texas — Two people are dead after a shooting that happened at an apartment complex Thursday afternoon, Hurst Police say. 

Police say officers were called to the Whispering Run Apartments after a caller reported hearing gunshots. When first responders got to the unit, they found the bodies of a man and a woman who they believe died from gunshot wounds. 

Hurst Police say the investigation is ongoing but believe there is no threat to the public. 

Officials said in a press release they suspect the incident was a domestic murder-suicide.
