A woman shot her ex-boyfriend after he broke into her home in Fort Worth, police say.
Officers responded to the 5500 block of Hidden Creek just after 7 a.m. Sunday in regard to a shooting call. When officers arrived on scene they found it was a domestic incident between a woman and her ex-boyfriend who entered her home without permission.
Police say the man began assaulting the woman before she was able to pepper spray and shoot him.
The male was struck three times by the gunfire, officials say. He was transported to the hospital with critical injuries.
