According to the records from the San Angelo Police Department (SAPD), in 2024 there was a total of 25 shootings through October compared to 2025 which has 21 shootings through October. San Angelo is on pace to have less shootings this year compared to last year.
The most active month for 2024 was January which had a total of 5 different shootings. In 2025 the most active was September which had a total of 5 shootings.
The least active month for 2024 was in July which had just one shooting. In 2025 the least active months were tied with one shooting, those months are February, March, April and October.
