New Dallas water fee triggers customer complaints

Dallas Water Utilities is moving to new billing software DallasGo.

Pay with a credit or debit card or pay a one-time fee, and then pay a 3.15% processing fee.

There will be no late fees or water service disconnections during the transition period.

Customers must get a new account number by going to the utilities website.

Avoid the surcharge by setting up AutoPay using eCheck (with your bank’s routing and account numbers).

Or pay by mail with a check or money order.

Make an in-person payment at Dallas City Hall.
