With week 10 in the books, the final games of the regular season are upon us. Central Texas has four unbeaten teams remaining: Lake Travis, Anderson, Bastrop and Regents. But everyone knows that the real season begins when the playoffs open in two weeks at a stadium near you.

Here are the American-Statesman’s Top 5 teams in each classification this week.

1. Lake Travis (9-0): Looking for first unbeaten regular season since pandemic-shortened 2020

2. Dripping Springs (8-1): Friday’s finale at Westlake will determine second place in 26-6A

3. Westlake (7-2): The Chaps beat Dripping Springs 35-14 last year

4. Vandegrift (7-2): The 43-0 win over Westwood was the Vipers’ second shutout this season

5. Hutto (7-2): Hippos are averaging 401 yards of offense a game

2. Bastrop (9-0): Friday’s game at Liberty Hill will determine the District 11-5A DII championship

3. Georgetown (8-1): Eagles can win 8-5A DI title outright with a win over Cedar Park

4. Liberty Hill (7-2): Panthers produced 467 yard of offense vs. Crockett — all rushing

5. Weiss (7-2): QB Jaxon Schad is averaging 299.6 passing yards a game

2. Jarrell (8-1): Jarrell, Salado and Wimberley all are 4-1 in 13-4A DII with one game left

3. Llano (8-1): Friday’s Llano-Ingram Moore game will decide the 13-3A DI crown

4. LBJ (7-2): Can win District 13-4A DI title outright with a win over Eastside

5. Lampasas (8-2): Playoff-bound Bagders ended their regular season last week
