Lightning strikes may have been the cause of at least one of four fires that kept Pearland firefighters busy Monday afternoon.
There were no injuries reported in any of the incidents, which included three residential fires and a blaze at a mobile home.
The four fires were called in during the 2 pm hour, just as storms were moving through the Pearland area, and fire investigators believe at least one of them may have started with lightning strikes.
