EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4 – Strong storms crept across the Oregon mountains early Sunday afternoon, resulting in a brief yet powerful storm cell that affected much of Dona Ana County and El Paso County.
According to El Paso Electric, 7,500 customers are without power as the storm sweeps through areas of Anthony, Santa Teresa, Vinton, and Mesilla.
In El Paso, the outages appear to be focused in the North East, with areas of Parkland and Chaparral reporting hundreds of customers affected.
