The hospitality group behind some of North Texas’ best-known restaurants has officially entered the sports lounge arena. Victory Tap Sports Lounge opened June 13 in West Plano Village, bringing a polished take on the traditional American sports bar to one of the city’s busiest retail corridors.
The new concept comes from Lombardi Family Concepts, the Dallas-based company known for restaurants like Maison Chinoise, Mar Y Sol Bistro 31, Toulouse Cafe & Bar, Taverna and Lombardi Cucina Italiana.
Located at 5973 W. Parker Road, Victory Tap is designed to be a sports-viewing destination, neighborhood gathering spot, casual restaurant and happy hour hangout all in one.
“A great restaurant becomes part of the neighborhood, part of the routine,” Founder and Owner Alberto Lombardi said. “With Victory Tap, we created a place for all of it — the big games, the slow Sunday mornings, the nights that stretch longer than planned. After all these years, I still believe great hospitality is the kind that simply makes people feel at ease.”

More Than A Sports Bar
At 7,600 square feet, Victory Tap has the scale to accommodate large crowds while still feeling like a neighborhood fixture. The space seats 250 guests and features 32 televisions along with two large video walls.
Designed by Filipe Pao Nunes, the interior draws inspiration from classic athletic clubs and collegiate traditions, mixing warm materials with contemporary finishes.
Sports are central to the experience, but they’re far from the only attraction. Guests can challenge friends on a professional-grade Formula 1 racing simulator, play on the outdoor bocce court or join games of cornhole, foosball and shuffleboard. The venue also plans to host tournaments and community events throughout the year.
A Menu That Stands On Its Own
While many sports bars treat food as a supporting act, Victory Tap is positioning its kitchen as one of the main reasons to visit.

The menu blends familiar game-day staples with more ambitious offerings. Wings are available in flavors ranging from Texas peach BBQ to Thai chili garlic, while starters include birria brisket tacos, crispy calamari and bloody mary deviled eggs.
Guests will also find sushi rolls, oysters, tavern-style pizzas and elevated comfort food. Standout dishes include a prime steak wedge salad, miso cod with sticky rice, rigatoni alla vodka and steak frites. Burger fans have several options, including the Victory smash burger and a Texas burger topped with bacon jam and roasted jalapeño aioli.
Cocktails, Happy Hour And Weekend Brunch
For drinks, guests can choose from local beers, wine and a cocktail list featuring drinks like The Red Card, a frozen watermelon and prosecco cocktail, and High Quality H2O, made with vodka, cucumber and lemongrass.
Happy hour runs Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., offering discounts on draft beer, wine and spirits, along with select food items priced at $10.

Weekend brunch is also part of the plan, giving the restaurant another opportunity to become an all-day destination.
“Every place we open, we ask the same question, will people feel at home here,” said Lombardi. “Victory Tap is no different. It is more relaxed, yes, but the warmth is the same. Eat, drink and enjoy life together. That is what we have always believed in.“
