The Hilliard Center has named entertainment industry veteran Tiffany Sun as its new general manager.

Sun, an 18-year Oak View Group employee, will relocate from Baltimore to Corpus Christi and begin her new role on June 22.

She brings nearly two decades of experience in live events, sports, entertainment and venue operations. Most recently, Sun served as general manager of the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

In her new position, Sun will oversee the day-to-day operations and future direction of the Hilliard Center, including the arena, Selena Auditorium and convention center.

Oak View Group officials said Sun’s experience leading events, building partnerships and managing venues made her a strong fit for the role.

“The opportunity to lead the Hilliard Center is truly exciting,” Sun said in a statement. “I look forward to collaborating with the community, attracting outstanding events and creating experiences that bring people together.”

Sun has previously held leadership roles at venues in Maine, Virginia and Georgia.
