The drivers of two vehicles were killed in a collision Wednesday morning on a highway in Fort Worth, police said.

Fort Worth police said they responded to the major accident at 2:25 a.m. at northwest Highway 287 at Harmon Road.

Officers found two vehicles involved in the accident. Both vehicles had single occupants, and both died at the scene, police said.

The crash briefly closed all lanes on the highway, but they have now reopened, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
