DALLAS — North Texas is getting ready to host another FIFA World Cup match.
On Wednesday, England takes on Croatia at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, but for the summer, it’s called Dallas Stadium.
Event organizers said some diehard fans show up early.
The FIFA Fan Festival in Dallas occurs at the Pavilion at Fair Park. Doors officially open at 11 a.m. and close at midnight.
If you couldn’t get that pricey ticket to watch a World Cup game in person, organizers said this is the next best thing — a mega watch party with up to 35,000 of your closest friends. Plus, it’s free.
All you have to do if you want to attend with your fellow World Cup lovers is register through the official website.
But organizers said a registered ticket doesn’t guarantee entry once capacity has been reached.
If you want to pay to elevate your FIFA Fan Festival experience, you can.
The cost ranges from $50 to $250 for perks like premium entry lanes, preferred viewing, a lounge equipped with AC, a bar, light snacks, beverages and more.
The England vs. Croatia game starts at 3 p.m.
Over at NRG Stadium in Houston, Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal will take on the Democratic Republic of Congo.
