EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14/CBS4) — Soccer fans across El Paso are invited to gather downtown Thursday evening for a free community watch party as Mexico takes on South Korea in the 2026 World Cup.
The City of El Paso will host the event at Cleveland Square Park beginning at 7 p.m. on June 18, where attendees can watch the game on the giant outdoor screen located outside the Mexican American Cultural Center.
Organizers say the event is designed to bring the community together through the excitement of soccer while offering a family-friendly atmosphere for fans of all ages.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early and bring lawn chairs or blankets to secure a comfortable viewing spot. In addition to the match, attendees can enjoy a variety of activities and giveaways throughout the evening.
The watch party will feature soccer player card trading, raffles, giveaways, and complimentary snacks available while supplies last. Organizers hope the event will create an energetic environment where fans can celebrate every goal, save, and memorable moment alongside fellow supporters.
The event is free and open to the public.
