Plano East had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 27-25, 25-20, 25-15.
Plano East got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dakota Huynh out in front who had 22 digs and two assists. Huynh has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last seven times she’s played. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Tucker, who had 14 digs and three aces.
Plano East’s victory bumped their record up to 29-10. As for Hebron, their loss ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 26-12.
As of now, neither Plano East nor the Hawks have any future games scheduled.
