What’s on the menu

The menu consists of burgers, flatbreads, salads, shrimp and wings, each covered in a variety of sauces or dry rubs. Many of the appetizers will be shareable, such as chips and dip, nachos, soft pretzel bites, fried pickles and pita and tzatziki, said Kelly Jackson, the restaurant’s general manager.

A burger on the menu is the Eagle Burger, which is a double patty smashed with sliced onions, topped with provolone and American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion and spicy mustard.

The sports bar will also feature pool tables and televisions throughout the venue. Eagle Tavern currently is showing FIFA World Cup games and offer lunch specials from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, according to its Facebook page.

What else?

The business will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily.

Eagle Tavern is the sister restaurant of The Goat Tavern in Roanoke, according to previous reporting. It moved into a space that was formerly occupied by Baja Cantina.
