LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – It took place at South Plains Lanes Thursday night in the summer league.
Dylan Macon, a South Plains Lanes employee of almost 10 years did something he still can’t fathom he did.
The 230 to 240 average bowler rolled back to back to back 300s to earn a sanctioned 900 series, the first ever in Lubbock. That’s 36 straight strikes.
Macon breaks the previous Lubbock City record held by Scott McCleery of 878.
Dylan won just over $15,000 from the Break the Bank Mini and Mega pots!
His next series started with 3 strikes giving him 39 straight strikes before his streak ended.
He is retiring his Brunswick Infinity Quest Pearl Bowling Ball!
It was night of pin perfection for Dylan!
