REOPEN. GORGEOUS CONDITIONS OUT THERE NOW AND HIGH PRESSURE IS STILL IN CONTROL, MEANING THAT WE’RE STILL LOOKING AT THOSE CLEAR SKIES GIVING WAY TO THAT PICTURE THAT YOU SEE RIGHT THERE BEHIND ME, ALONG WITH SOME PRETTY MILD TEMPERATURES HERE AS WELL. BIGGER PICTURE SHOWING YOU THAT AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE THAT BASICALLY IS JUST SITTING NEARLY ON TOP OF US HERE. IT’S JUST DUE NORTH OF US HERE AT THE MOMENT, AS A MATTER OF FACT. AND YOU ZOOM IN TOWARDS SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA AND YOU SEE THAT SKIES, FOR THE MOST PART, ARE JUST IN GENERAL JUST LOOKING OVERALL CLEAR AND QUIET WITH TEMPERATURES VERY COMFORTABLE SITTING CURRENTLY INTO THE LOW TO MID 60S ACROSS SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA. BUT I DO EXPECT OUR LOWS THOUGH FOR TONIGHT THROUGH TOMORROW MORNING TO DROP INTO THE LOWER 40S ON THE NORTH SHORE. AND THEN WE START TO WARM UP INTO THE 50S FOR WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. LOWER 60S DO RETURN FRIDAY AND ALSO INTO THE WEEKEND HERE COMING UP. MEANWHILE, SOUTH SHORE LOW TEMPERATURES TOMORROW MORNING, WAKING UP INTO THE LOWER 50S, UPPER 50S ON WEDNESDAY. AND YOU CAN SEE THAT WE’RE STARTING THAT WARM UP TREND HERE IN THE MORNING, FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND, AS TEMPERATURES WILL WARM UP INTO THOSE MID 60S. BUT I DO EXPECT ALL LOCATIONS TOMORROW IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA TO REACH THOSE LOW TO MID 70S DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS. SO ANOTHER MILD DAY IS COMING UP. AND SPEAKING OF MILD, IT LOOKS LIKE IT WILL STAY THAT WAY THROUGH TUESDAY. EVEN WARMER CONDITIONS COMING UP, HIGHS REACHING THOSE LOW 80S WEDNESDAY THROUGH AT LEAST SATURDAY. THERE’S GOING TO BE A COLD FRONT REALLY DROPPING DOWN THESE TEMPERATURES INTO THE LOW 70S. HOWEVER, AS WE HEAD INTO SUNDAY, I’LL SHOW YOU THAT HERE COMING UP IN JUST A FEW MINUTES. BUT YOU CAN SEE AS WE HEAD INTO FUTURECAST SKIES WILL CONTINUE TO REMAIN QUIET AND JUST OVERALL PRETTY CLEAR ACROSS THE AREA. COULD SEE A COUPLE OF CLOUDS NEAR THE COAST AS WE HEAD INTO TOMORROW AFTERNOON. BUT OVERALL, I’M JUST GOING TO GO WITH YET ANOTHER MOSTLY SUNNY AND JUST OVERALL TRANQUIL DAY. BUT YOU CAN SEE HEADING INTO TOMORROW NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY, CLEAR SKIES AGAIN. MAYBE A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SOME FOG DEVELOPMENT IN SOME ISOLATED LOCATIONS, AND YOU CAN SEE THROUGHOUT THE DAY. ON WEDNESDAY WE START TO TURN A LITTLE BIT MORE IN THE PARTLY CLOUDY SIDE OF THINGS, SO MAYBE A FEW MORE CLOUDS BEGIN TO INCREASE INTO THE PICTURE. BUT I’M NOT REALLY EXPECTING RAIN CHANCES TO GO UP UNTIL MAYBE ON THURSDAY AT 30%, AND THEN MAYBE ANOTHER SLIGHT CHANCE COMING UP LATER IN THE WEEK, SAY AROUND SATURDAY HERE OF THIS WEEKEND. AND THAT’S ALL THANKS TO THIS NEXT DISTURBANCE THAT I’M WATCHING. BUT IT’S A VERY WEAK DISTURBANCE. IT’S KIND OF ACTUALLY ASSOCIATED WITH A FRONTAL BOUNDARY HERE. IT LOOKS LIKE HEADING INTO FRIDAY, WHICH IS WHY WE DO EXPECT THE RAIN CHANCES MAYBE TO GO UP JUST SLIGHTLY HERE FOR US. BUT THE BIGGER SYSTEM THAT I’M WATCHING IS THIS NEXT STRONG COLD FRONT THAT’S COMING INTO THE PICTURE ON SUNDAY. AND BEHIND IT, I DO EXPECT SOME MUCH COOLER AIR TO TAKE SHAPE, KNOCKING DOWN OUR TEMPERATURES FOR BOTH OUR AFTERNOON HIGHS AND LOWS. AND CHECK THIS OUT. HIGH PRESSURE ALSO IN PLACE TOO. SO THAT’S GOING TO HELP REINFORCE THE DRY CLEAR AIR AND LOTS OF SUNSHINE AS WE HEAD INTO NEXT WEEK AS WELL. COME FORECAST. LOOKS GOOD, COMFORTABLE, JUST PLEASANT. TOMORROW THROUGH THURSDAY, BUT THE HUMIDITY DOES INCREASE A LITTLE BIT MORE AS WE HEAD INTO FRIDAY, WHICH IS WHY I’M GOING TO GO. OVERALL, A MUGGY SCALE HERE TO END THE WORKWEEK. NOW, AS FAR AS THE TROPICS GO, EVERYTHING IS QUIET. I’M NOT EXPECTING ANY TROPICAL DEVELOPMENT COMING UP OVER THE NEXT SEVEN DAYS, SO THINGS STAYING QUIET HERE. LOOKS LIKE AS WE WRAP UP THE HURRICANE SEASON COMING UP IN A FEW WEEKS. THAT’S A LOOK AT YOUR WDSU FIRST WARNING SEVEN DAY FORECAST. AND I’M GOING WITH MAINLY SUNNY SKIES THROUGH THURSDAY. A SLIGHT CHANCE OF A SHOWER FRIDAY, AND WARMER A
