The Texas Department of Public Safety issued an Amber Alert Monday night for a missing baby and teenager who were last seen more than a month ago in Converse. Authorities are asking anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to call 911.
According to DPS, 1-year-old Alejandro Vasquez and his mother, 15-year-old Escarleth Vasquez, were last seen around 3 p.m. May 9 at their home in the 7000 block of Phoenix Path near Interstate 10 and Woodlake Parkway. Authorities said they may be traveling in a red pickup truck.
Alejandro Vasquez is 2-foot-10 and 27 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He was last seen wearing all black.
Escarleth Vasquez is 5-foot-4 and 130 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie and gray pants.
They were first reported missing May 10 by the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office. An Amber Alert is activated when authorities believe there is reasonable belief of an abduction and that the children are in “imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death.”
