A New York-based real estate brokerage founded by the star of a Netflix show is making its Texas debut.
Serhant launched today in San Antonio, Austin, Dallas and Houston. Ryan Serhant, who started the company in 2020, is an executive producer and star of Netflix’s “Owning Manhattan,” which follows him and his team of New York agents. The CEO has closed more than $14 billion in lifetime sales and also previously starred on Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing New York.”
Serhant’s Texas debut follows its entrance into California earlier this year and marks the company’s 17th state since it first expanded outside New York in 2023.
Susana Sarvis, who was most recently vice president of brokerage operations at Real Brokerage, will lead Serhant Texas as managing director and broker of record out of the firm’s Houston office.
Serhant is known for its AI platform, S.MPLE, which automates administrative tasks for agents, including comparative market analyses, listing presentations, newsletters and client follow-ups. The app’s integrated management feature tracks deadlines and processes compliance documents for property offers.

In 2024, the company secured a $45 million investment from venture capital firms Camber Creek and Left Lane Capital to aggressively scale the platform, expanding the app to brokers outside of the firm.
The Texas brokerages partnering with Serhant will have access to S.MPLE and the company’s worldwide marketing reach.
