In highest attended match, Arlington Police say there were no major incidents, nine arrests

ARLINGTON, Texas — Arlington police reported no major security issues during the highest-attended match at Dallas Stadium so far, officials said. 

Police did announce nine arrests connected to match-day activities. The arrests included four for criminal trespass, three for liquor law violations involving individuals allegedly selling alcoholic beverages from coolers without required licenses, one for trademark counterfeiting involving merchandise valued between $2,500 and $30,000, and one for possession of marijuana.

Officials said the march concluded without major incidents and thanked Austrian fans for their cooperation.

Arlington police said officers will be visible on Thursday as they help secure the Visit Jordan Experience at Levitt Pavilion. The three-day cultural event will lead up to Saturday’s match between Jordan and Argentina.
