At the beginning of 2026, Cured exited its historic home at San Antonio’s Pearl after an impressive 13 years. Since then, the former charcuterie restaurant has sat vacant, but a new tenant is developing ambitious plans for the “jewel box” building.

A recent project filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) named “Yosemite” lists the address of the shuttered Cured, indicating a new concept headed to the space. The filing states that the existing restaurant space will undergo an interior renovation costing about $1.5 million, with construction scheduled to run from August 1, 2026, to November 13, 2026.

MySA reached out to a representative for the Pearl, who wasn’t able to share much about the new concept coming to the ex-Cured building, but we did receive a brief statement about the complex as a whole.

” At this time, we’re not able to share additional details beyond confirming that it is part of Pearl’s broader plan to introduce seven new restaurant concepts this year,” the statement said.
