As part of their summer camp and fun, young campers taking part in Aransas Pass for Youth’s annual camp were able to get a firsthand look at a one-of-a-kind learning lab thanks to the Port of Corpus Christi.
On June 23, campers in classes 1, 2, 6, and 7 had the chance to visit the Portable Learning Lab. The Portable Learning Lab is courtesy of the Port of Corpus Christi, and provides students the chance to have hands-on interactive experiences.
During the day, campers had the chance to experience interactive screens and exhibits inside the Portable Learning Lab and learn from instructors. Classes 3, 4, and 5 were set to visit the Portable Learning Lab on June 25.
“Campers enjoyed hands-on learning experiences that encouraged creativity, exploration, and discovery. We are grateful for community partners like the Port of Corpus Christi who help bring unique educational opportunities to our youth,” Aransas Pass for Youth wrote on social media following the event. “…. Thank you, Port of Corpus Christi, for investing in the future of our campers and helping make learning fun.”
