Just in time for scorching summer temperatures, Gati is opening its first dessert-only space in Hyde Park this Saturday. Gati Scoops will feature chef Jam Sanitchat’s already-beloved dairy-free, gluten-free ice cream varieties, with rotating seasonal flavors such as blackberry cobbler, blueberry, and mango lime as well as distinctive favorites like Thai coffee, golden milk, and pandan.
In addition to its signature frozen treat, the scoop shop will also serve gluten-free baked goods and other delectable treats including brownies a la mode, affogatos, and ice cream cake slices.
To celebrate opening day this weekend, Gati Scoops is offering a free scoop to the first 100 customers on June 27. All other guests will receive a free topping with their order such as house-made gluten-free oreos or dye-free sprinkles. The shop will also launch with an exclusive flavor and special sundae only available at this location: tamarind candy ice cream and the peach cobbler sundae made with local peaches.
Gati Scoops debuts to the public on June 27 at 4500 Duval Street. The shop is open from 12 to 10 p.m. daily and features indoor and outdoor seating.
