Nordstrom Rack is rolling into another city in North Texas.

The retailer — the lower-priced version of the higher-end department store — is planning to open a new store in Murphy in Collin County, according to a statement on Tuesday. It’s slated to open in the spring of 2027.

It’s yet another addition to the growing lineup of Nordstrom Racks in Dallas-Fort Worth, where it’s grown to more than a dozen locations. Recent additions include Prosper and Flower Mound.

Nordstrom is investing in its Rack retail business as off-price stores gain momentum with shoppers amid economic pressures and evolving tastes. The company listed openings in several states in the past few months, including Arizona, Florida, New York and Georgia.
