15 hospitalized after DART bus hits hole on Harry Hines Boulevard – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

Multiple people are hospitalized after a DART bus drove over “a hole” in Dallas on Thursday morning.

According to Dallas Fire-Rescue, units were dispatched at 5:53 a.m. to a call about a bus that ended up in “a hole” in the street in the 6300 block of Harry Hines Boulevard, near Exchange Parkway, after a metal plate shifted and exposed it.

Dallas Fire-Rescue officials said seven rescue units and an EMS supervisor responded to the scene.

A total of 15 people were taken to local hospitals, Dallas Fire-Rescue officials said.

According to Dallas Fire-Rescue, four patients were taken to Parkland, four to Baylor, and seven to Dallas Methodist.

Six people, including the bus driver, declined hospital transport.
