CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi police and fire investigators are looking for help from the public to identify a man they say was seen leaving the scene of a suspected arson case.
The blaze broke out along the 4300 block of Carroll Lane on April 28, 2026, at around 4:30 a.m. Detectives have released surveillance footage captured around the time of the fire.

Firefighters were called to the vacant home, which appeared to be undergoing renovations. Crews found flames and smoke coming from the structure and gained control of the fire in about five minutes.
No injuries were reported, and very little damage was done to the inside of the home. Most of the damage was limited to the exterior of the building.
