Drake is searching for women named Janice in Houston, but this time he is not saying “Janice STFU.”
The rapper released three albums – “Iceman,” “Habibti” and “Maid of Honour” – last month and is kicking off his Houston summer with an apology tied to his top-10 Billboard single.
Drake announced that he will invite women legally named Janice to a gathering from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Drake’s Hollywood, 1100 Westheimer, for food, free drinks, fun and prizes – and an apology.
The rapper posted Thursday on his Instagram story U.S postal letters with the caption “Look out for my invitation Sunday.”

The rapper said he’s hosting his apology event in five cities. Women named Janice in New York, Los Angeles, Miami, Toronto and Houston will be invited to apology parties in those cities Sunday.
An announcement from 93.7 The Beat lists an RSVP email at JSTFU@drakerelated.com and invites women with the legal name Janice to attend if they did not receive an invitation. Attendees must present identification.
“Janice STFU” has become one of the world’s most popular songs from his album “Iceman.” It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
This is not Drake’s first gathering in the Montrose area. Last weekend, Drake celebrated the birthday of his close friend Chubbs at Montrose’s newest cocktail bar, 1111, where he was seen with Houston rapper Bun B and others enjoying songs such as “Mo City Don,” Geroge Strait’s “All My Ex’s Live in Texas” and Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas,” another Billboard hit that debuted at No. 1.
