WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – The cycling team at MSU has taken home another set of wins from its most recent event hosted by Texas A&M, including a 1-2-3 finish in the men’s category and another first-place finish from previous event winner Emma Kasza-James.
MSU Cycling team members Blake Keeling, Mauri Maldonado, and Cole Barrera placed first, second, and third at Bluff Creek Ranch in the Warda races hosted by Texas A&M, while the MSU mountain bike team extended its lead ahead of the final event in Abilene.
Emma Kasza James and Gabrielle Wright took first and third place in Category A, while Julian Meneses finished third in Category C.
MSU also came out on top last week in the 100-mile Cooler n’Hell gravel race hosted by the City of Wichita Falls. Romain Gireme took first place in the 100-mile event and Dusan Kalaba took second place in the 50-mile event, right behind former national champion Johnny Brown.
