Funeral Service: 9:30 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2026, in the Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Oakwood Cemetery at 701 Grand Ave. Fort Worth, Texas 76164. Visitation: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in the Breyley Suite at Mount Olivet. Sharan was born on April 27, 1947, in Fresno, California. She later made Texas her home, where she built a remarkable life defined by hard work, service, and compassion. She graduated from Carter-Riverside High School. She also enjoyed playing softball, a sport that reflected her competitive spirit, determination, and love of teamwork. Sharan married the love of her life, Robert Lee “Bob” Dunn, and together they built a beautiful life centered around family, friendship, and shared adventures. Bob preceded her in death in 2016, but the love they shared remained an enduring part of her story and the light she carried with her every day. Together, Sharan and Bob raised two sons, Beau and Brad, who were the pride and joy of their lives. For well over a decade, the Dunn family immersed themselves in the world of competitive BMX racing. They traveled countless miles, spending weekends at races, cheering on their boys, and creating memories that would last a lifetime. Those years became one of the defining chapters of their family’s story and remain among Beau and Brad’s most treasured childhood memories. Professionally, Sharan and Bob were respected entrepreneurs and the proud owners of Dunn-Rite Glass. Together, they built a thriving business through determination, integrity, and an unmatched work ethic, earning the admiration and trust of customers, colleagues, and friends alike. Her passion for serving others extended far beyond business. Sharan believed deeply in strengthening her community and helping the next generation succeed. She dedicated countless hours to the PTA, proudly served on the school board, and was always willing to volunteer wherever she was needed. She believed that investing in children, education, and her community created a better future for everyone. Above all else, Sharan’s greatest joy was her family. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, cherished friend, and a source of strength and encouragement to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She had a generous heart, a determined spirit, and a one-of-a-kind personality that left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Those who knew Sharan will fondly remember, she could often be found driving in Haltom City in her pearl white Cadillac with her faithful pit bull, Jasmine, happily riding in the front seat beside her. She also shared a special bond with Yorkies and was rarely without one of her beloved animals by her side. Her dogs were more than pets-they were cherished members of her family and constant companions who brought her endless joy. Sharan is survived by her beloved sons, Brad Dunn and Beau Dunn; her cherished grandchildren, Waylan and Melanie Dunn; extended family; dear friends; and the countless people whose lives were forever touched by her kindness, generosity, and service. Although our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort in knowing she has been reunited with her beloved husband, Bob. Together again, they leave behind a family built on love, countless treasured memories, and a legacy of compassion, perseverance, service, and unconditional love. Sharan’s life reminds us that true success is measured not only by what we accomplish, but by the lives we touch along the way. Her kindness, resilience, generosity, and unwavering love will continue to inspire all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
