EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A boy from El Paso has earned a Kids World Record for the most stopwatch laps in one minute.
Leonardo, the record holder, achieved the milestone on June 17, 2026, according to World Record Kids.

In a video from World Record Kids, Leonardo recorded his run, showing he did 583 stopwatch laps in 60 seconds!
“Kids World Records now reaches young achievers in 63 countries, making it one of the fastest-growing global platforms celebrating children’s achievements,” Emile Hoffman, CEO of Kids World Records, said. “We recently released our 2026 edition – the sixth book published by our company – and we’re thrilled to welcome Leonardo into the expanding KWR family. In addition to this feat, Leonardo has a pet bird that he trains to do multiple tricks! He also enjoys programming and building his tech skills, as well as showing his diverse interests and talents.
