JEFFERSON, Texas (KSLA) – Marion County deputies, Jefferson Police officers, and Texas Department of Public Safety responded to a reported shooting on FM 248 just before 8 p.m. June 29.
Authorities said one person was found dead at the scene and was pronounced dead there. One suspect has been arrested in connection with the homicide, and Texas Rangers are assisting the Marion County Sheriff’s Office with the investigation.
Officials have not released the names of the victim or suspect. Anyone with information is asked to contact Marion County authorities.
