LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – The Silent Wings Museum will offer free admission on Veterans Day to honor United States military veterans.
The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11, with no admission charge.
The Estacado High School Color Guard will open a commemoration ceremony at 11 a.m. Mayor Mark McBrayer will follow with the City of Lubbock Veterans Day Proclamation, honoring the nation’s veterans.
After the ceremony, visitors will be encouraged to write notes to U.S. military members. Live music will be performed later in the day.
The Silent Wings Museum is located on North I-27 near the airport.
