LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) – Jurors heard opening arguments today in a child sex abuse trial at the Lubbock County Courthouse.
58-year-old Curtis Johnson is accused of repeatedly molesting a child under the age of 14.
According to court documents, the abuse happened from July 2020 to the end of 2021.
Johnson is facing enhanced charges based on previous felony convictions.
The trial will resume tomorrow morning.
